During this pandemic and civil unrest, there's been greater need in our communities. Here's how we've been responding to help.
Glad I could play a part in serving our community. Many expressed their appreciation as they shared how grocery shopping and cooking are challenging on their own. Heard things like 'this means so much to me' and 'I don't know what I'd do without you people'. It encouraged me that even small acts of kindness can leave strong impact.
It was neat to just play a small role in giving back to the community! We were able to make care packages of essential needs for people and drop it off at the donation center. Even though it seemed so small to us, it was neat hearing from the workers how much it can impact those in need.
I'm thankful for the opportunity to put together these care packages. I hope that loving them in this small and concrete way will continue to mobilize us to share the burdens of others and move towards needs. You never know how your small act of love can mean the whole world of difference for another.
See below on ways you can serve in your community. We encourage you to do it with a friend or make it something you do with your family!
